This hand-knit shawl is also called “Half a Kingdom”, which alludes to the half royal receiving shawl which we also sell. The very intricate pattern of holes is the same. The shawl can be used as a scarf for indoor and outdoor use in the winter or as a shawl over bare shoulders in the summer. The shawl in size XL is 190 cm (75 inches) long and is knit with 100% alpaca. This shawl is also available in medium. Hand-knit by women in Bolivia under Fair Trade conditions. The income earned from knitting enables the women to create better living conditions for themselves and their families.
