This very soft and wonderfully warm neck warmer makes all the difference on a cold day. When children are outside for a long time and need to keep warm, it is important that they wear clothes that close off all of the openings of the clothes. The two most important places are at the neckline and at the ends of the sleeves, as children usually wear boots that fit snugly where the snow pants end. The neck warmer is knit in once size as the edge ensures that children of all ages can get it over their heads and that it can still sit snugly around the neck. The neck warmer is part of the series that we call “Knud”, named after the Danish polar explorer Knud Rasmussen, who was wearing a sweater with the same pattern in 1921, when he visited the North Pole on one of his many expeditions. We were inspired by this pattern because we think that it is simple, smart and timeless. Hand-knit with 100% wool.
