This hand-knit shawl is referred to as “Half a Kingdom”, which alludes to the Royal receiving shawl which we also sell. The very intricate pattern of holes is the same. The shawl can be used as a scarf for indoor and outdoor use in the winter or as a shawl over bare shoulders in the summer. In size medium the shawl measures 145 cm (57 inches) long and is knit with 100% alpaca. This shawl is also available in XL. Hand-knit by women in Bolivia under Fair Trade conditions. The income earned from knitting enables the women to create better living conditions for themselves and their families.
